Product Reviews

Name: Review:
We had installed it recently on the side of our wall, as requested by the customer. The setup was straightforward, with no hassle. Our Wi-Fi signal has been stable and consistent throughout, which is great for our needs. In terms of battery life, there's been no issue whatsoever. Furthermore, the video quality has been spot on, making it ideal for what we use it for.

We purchased this baby monitor for our 5-month-old, now six months old, and have had it for a month. The connectivity has been decent, but not great - sometimes I get better signal with my phone than with the actual video unit. The battery life is surprisingly short, running down really quickly as the parent unit struggles to maintain a connection. The cable that connects the camera to the parent unit can be quite limited, making it tricky to locate in different rooms, and it's always necessary to plug it in at all times.

After trying to troubleshoot for hours, I ended up spending half an hour pairing, unpairing, repairing, and resetting this device just so it would connect. Unfortunately, the whole process can be a frustrating experience - like tonight. Because the helpline is so far away, we miss out on live calls, which means we're not able to troubleshoot problems together, and we have to resort to trying to figure it out ourselves while also keeping an eye on our baby.

The picture quality isn't great - it often gets stuck or freezes intermittently. Even when I'm standing outside the door with the camera, I don't get a clear signal, which can be quite frustrating. It's not even that bad when I'm downstairs in my bedroom - just meters from the nursery. The device has three modes: auto, direct mode, and WiFi. When it switches to auto mode, it often defaults to WiFi mode instead of using the better connection option. This means we have to manually switch between the two.

The direct mode isn't great either - it's not as reliable or convenient as the other options. We've found that even in a small terraced house, where I live, it struggles to connect due to interference from the back room. Unfortunately, when our child is downstairs in that room, we can't get a signal at all. This means that even if we do manage to get the device connected, we're not really getting any useful information out of it.

It's just more money for us than we were willing to pay. I've read other reviews saying that this monitor is better than some others on the market, but after using it ourselves, we don't think so.

We've had our trusty monitor for 12 months now, and initially it performed flawlessly. However, despite its reliability, the monitor's lifespan has been a concern.

The casing cracking issue was particularly noticeable, and the stand snapping off more often than not. As for battery life, we're running low on time when it comes to getting the monitor to power up each morning.

To make matters worse, the monitor itself no longer functions correctly, requiring us to press a reset button every single day just to get it to turn on again. It's been months since we've experienced this issue with any other monitor, and we're starting to lose patience.
